You can book an online or in-person appointment with the links below, or else drop by our office room 151a, in the Library Learning Commons during these times.

Appointment format

From September – April, we encourage you to book an appointment through the links above, you can indicate online or in-person through the booking link.

You are also welcome to try dropping by our office room 151a during the times listed above, and our Learning Strategist will be happy to help you if they aren’t already working with another student.

From May – August, study solutions appointments are available by request, please email learning@uvic.ca.

What is Study Solutions?

Study Solutions is a free learning strategist service for all UVic Students. Learning Strategists support students to develop their own personalized strategies to achieve academic success and their unique goals.  Meet with a Learning Strategist to discuss time management & organization, note-taking, studying/test prep, and reading & writing tasks.

What does a learning strategist do?

Learning strategists provide one-on-one support to students to identify learning strengths and apply strategies to boost academic success and efficiency.

What You Can Expect
We consider you the expert in your own learning. You know how you learn, and the strategies that have worked in your academic life… and what hasn’t!

A learning strategist listens and supports you in selecting the best strategies for the challenges you experience.
