Yo’ad E-H.
UVic Student Mental Health Blogger
Hi everyone! My name is Yo’ad (he/him) and I am a third year Political Science major and history minor here at the University of Victoria. Coming to UVic 3 years ago was the first time I ever visited the Island and it has been a great experience so far! (P.S. if you can correctly guess where I’m from I’ll give you a high five 🙂 ). When I’m not at school you can find me reading through random Wikipedia articles, tending to my balcony garden, staring at my aquarium full of snails and shrimp, listening to an eclectic mix of music, and watching too many hours of soccer and basketball.
My struggles with my own mental health have been difficult to deal with; however, I have recently learned that what helps me the most is sharing my experiences and learning that I am not alone. That is why I think this blog is so important and why I am so excited to be a part of it!
I hope everyone who reads this has a great year!
