Ilia F.
UVic Student Mental Health Guest Blogger
Hi lovelies! My name is Ilia and I’m a 5th year Biopsych/Mathematics student at UVic. My passion for merging science with community, as well as my diagnoses of ADHD, GAD and BPD has led me to focus on the importance of mental health awareness. As the co-founder and current co-president of UVic’s Mental Health Awareness Club, I’m passionate about starting conversations and working to implement changes on campus and in Greater Victoria. As a Jack.org public speaker, and a Suicide Awareness and Education speaker with NEED2, and a participant in last years’ UVic Mental Health event, I refuse to shy away from the topic.
My other passions/self-care activities include: music festivals, drawing, running, hip hop dance, rock climbing, writing poetry and reading philosophy.
