Join us on Fridays for beginner guitar lessons offered by fellow guitar club attendees, or on Thursdays for a guitar jam!

The guitar club is supportive of all levels of guitar players, as the main goal is to have fun!

Don’t have your own guitar? Don’t worry, guitar club offers guitars free of charge for club use.

Guitar club is a safe space that supports learning at any level, self-promotion, and song suggestions. There is no particular genre that is favoured in the guitar club. Songs that we often jam to include: Slow dancing in a Burning Room (John Mayer), Stairway to Heaven (Led Zeppelin), and Can’t Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley).

The guitar club also supports a Discord group chat that features guitar help and advice, video sharing, schedules and, most importantly, memes.

The guitar club takes place in a few different locations including the MacLaurin, Cornett, and Bob Wright buildings. Each location offers space for many guitarists — the more the merrier.

Maybe you have been playing for many years, maybe you are just getting started, or maybe you just like the idea of playing guitar. I encourage you all to come. I can promise an enjoyable experience!
