The Perfect (Cheap) Victoria Date Night
As a student, it can be hard to afford a luxurious date night while paying for classes, housing, and the weekly grocery run. However, knowing the ins and outs of Victoria (or reading this blog post written by someone who does) has its advantages, and can allow for the creation of a perfect (and when we say perfect, we mean cheap) date night with a partner or a group of friends.
The recipe I present to you here is for a Tuesday night:
Step 1: Pick a movie. On Tuesdays, all Cineplex tickets are discounted! Kicking back and relaxing in a comfy chair feels even better when you get to spend less money doing so. There is a theatre right in downtown Victoria (and parking is free after 6 PM).
Step 2: Visit Bin 4 Burger Lounge after 9 PM. Every night, Bin 4 reduces the price of their delicious burgers after this time. This works perfect when you have an appetite after a long movie, and is located close enough to the theatre to walk!

If executed correctly, this entire night shouldn’t cost you more than you can make in one hour at a minimum wage job.
And if spent with the right person, the memories themselves can be priceless.
