Day In The Life of a UVic Nursing Student

I think it’s safe to say that the shift to online schooling over this past year has been filled a lot of uncertainty, stress, and messed up sleep schedules.

As someone who decided to switch from biopsychology to nursing in 2020, I was especially worried because nursing is the type of career that requires a significant amount of hands-on learning, which simply can’t be done through a computer screen. However, as I look back on my first year, I’m happy to say that I had an amazing time!

I’m a pretty big journal guy and love to capture different moments and feelings throughout my life. So, I grabbed my camera and decided to document one full day of this unique journey as a first-year nursing student during a pandemic.
