Scenes from Lockdown

While online school can be taxing, boring, and isolating at times, I’ve found there’s a little beauty in the mundane everyday tasks of working at home. Now, more than ever, I think it’s important for us to appreciate our surroundings. There is positivity in the little things, even when we feel like lockdown has us stuck inside.

I’m someone who enjoys taking photos and videos of my favourite moments. If we were not in a lockdown, I would be taking videos of my smiling friends or a scene at a concert. Because they are not possible right now, I’ve decided to capture some of the moments around me during lockdown instead and compile it into a video. Whether it’s my sleeping dog, a gorgeous sunset, or just feeling productive with my zoom setup, I think there is beauty everywhere if you look hard enough for it.
