Retelling Cinderella: Misunderstanding Fairy Tale Heroines

I never really liked Cinderella when I was a kid, but when the 2015 Disney live-action remake came out, I fell in love with the story. There was so much more to the story than I previously realised, and all I wanted to do was write my own version of it. When I applied for a JCURA, it was obvious that Cinderella retellings would be my focus.
