My British Reading Break Adventure

This reading break, I did something I’ve never done before – I dropped my books and school work and flew to the UK for a week! One of my best friends moved to London a month ago, and reading break seemed like the perfect time to pay her a visit.

A week may seem like a short time for a Europe trip, but Katie and I managed to fit so many fun things into that time frame! One of the highlights was the Harry Potter Studio Tour. We’re both Harry Potter nerds, so this tour was an unforgettable experience for us. We even had our own private tour guide because our friend’s sister works at the studio!

Another highlight was traveling to Scotland for a few days. I did a semester abroad in Glasgow four years ago, and it felt so good to be back. It’s one of my favourite cities in the world.

While we were in Scotland, Katie and I went on a coach tour of the Highlands and this was my absolute favourite day of the trip. We saw tons of castles, beautiful scenery, and even made a new friend!

Although I have some serious catching up to do in terms of school work, I am so happy I got to travel this reading break. I’ve satisfied my travel bug (for now!) and am now refreshed and ready to jump back into law school.

Im a current high school student who is interested in applying for the law program, and one of the “recruiters” if I could be put in contact with a law student and she suggested I look at your blogs, I have some questions about the program.
