UVic CSS: Commerce Students’ Society

Involving yourself in students’ societies is a great way to meet people, learn transferable skills such as team building, leadership and time management, and open doors to new possibilities.

About a year ago I accepted the position to be the Vice President of Engagement for the Commerce Students’ Society (CSS) at UVic. Even though I gave up the opportunity to go on exchange in Paris, France, I can confidently say that this experience has been worthwhile. With only one month left in my term, it is time to reflect and appreciate the strong team that I had the opportunity to work with.
