Whitenoise was a new stream cipher invented and developed by BSB Utilities Inc. The ISOT Lab conducted the evaluation of the Whitenoise cryptosystem. The evaluation was carried out based on the validation metrics and tools designed by the National Institute of Standard and Technology (NIST) for the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) competition.
The validation process consists of two phases:
- Validation of the Whitenoise algorithm
- Validation of the key management facility
The first phase of the validation project has been completed. Read a report summarizing the process and results.
