Welcome to the Risky Behaviour Lab!

The Risky Behaviour Lab is a proud part of the Clinical Lifespan area of the Department of Psychology at the University of Victoria.

Our research aims to understand when and why people engage in behaviours that are physically damaging to themselves. Ultimately, our goal is to reduce the personal and societal burdens associated with mental illness by enhancing our ability to predict and prevent risky behaviours. This page provides information about our current projects and past research, as well as opportunities to get involved in our research.
