Books

Contact the Copyright and Scholarly Communications Office (CSCO) to discuss the publication of scholarly and teaching monographs. Each project includes editorial and publication support, including the procurement of a book designer. Any faculty member who is interested in utilizing the Libraries ePublishing service is responsible for bringing a well-edited book and the funds for hiring a professional book designer for the project.

Open Access - Greater Reach for Greater Impact

The university's e-Publishing service ensures that our author's research or teaching resource is disseminated as widely as possible. We have adopted an open access business model by using a Creative Commons license (https://creativecommons.org), where authors retain copyright. All our open access books are available as free PDFs and EPUBs on UVicSpace (UVic’s institutional repository), while paperback copies can be purchased through the University Bookstore.
