This exploratory introduction session will demonstrate various “mapping” options with numerous geospatial tools. Possibilities such as creating a (beautiful) static map for a paper or thesis, an interactive pdf map, an interactive web map, re-creating digital geospatial data from paper sources, and geospatial analysis will be demonstrated and participants can express what the next sessions should be based on above and other interests.
