Photo of Arduino project from workshop with spooky eyes

Last week, we held our first Halloween-themed Arduino workshop. Our computer electronics expert, Tiffany Chan, led participants through the process of creating a box monster using an Arduino (a credit card-sized computer), crafts materials, and a plain old shoe or gift box. Everyone was incredibly focused throughout the workshop as they assembled their boxes for pranking and scaring purposes. This turned to ear-to-ear grins as individuals got their electronics working and moved into decorating their boxes.

Tiffany did a great job leading this workshop and achieving the Makerspace Workshop Trifecta: Interesting, Educational, and Fun!
