September 30th marks the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. On this day, the Songhees Nation is host the second annual South Island Powwow. The annual South Island Powwow is an opportunity to recognize survivors and their families in the spirit of reconciliation. There will be song, dance and food vendors. Registration is free and all are welcome.
