The BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres has multiple funding opportunities available for Indigenous students.
The Post-Secondary Student Support Program (PSSSP) provides funding First Nations students who are BC residents and are ineligible for funding through band membership enrolled at the post-secondary level.
The First Citizens Fund Student Bursary Program provides bursaries between $700-$1,200 to post-secondary students of Indigenous ancestry (status, non-status, Métis, Inuit) who demonstrate financial need. Applicants must be permanent residents of BC and meet GPA requirements.
