LEGIT, the Lesbian and Gay Immigration Taskforce, was founded in December 1991 in Vancouver, Canada. LEGIT is an organization of volunteers helping same-sex couples who wish to live together in Canada. Many of the volunteers are couples who have been successful in settling in Canada. LEGIT offer their services for free via their webpage.
