If you are a veteran who needs daily care for your health and well-being, the Caregiver Recognition Benefit may be for you. This benefit provides monthly compensation to those who are assisting with the full-time care of a veteran. To be eligible, you must be a former Canadian Armed Forces member and receive daily assistance or a level of care similar to admission to an institution. You may apply online, in-person, or by mail and will receive a decision on your application within 8 weeks.
