These education and support programs are catered to youth ages 8-19 who have a parent or family member with a serious mental illness. They teach youth healthy coping strategies, education on mental illnesses and connect them to peers who are going through similar experiences. It is provided by the BC Schizophrenia Society and consists of 8 sessions once or twice a week. They will be facilitated by mental health workers. Please contact for more information and the nearest program to you. Youth 14+ are able to self refer to the program.
