84 year old Gladys Vandal, also known as Elder Jiixa, raps the Haida language with Julia Weder in their rap group called Siijuu Jaadas (meaning Cool Ladies in Haida). With the help of the few remaining Elders who can pass the language on, this duo hopes to revive and preserve the language for generations to come.
