White Rock resident, Brita Doubroff, has created a helpful tool to ease anxieties in special needs children and seniors with dementia. This tool is called a fidget blanket and is a lightweight blanket with 16 different textures and activities. She has already given away 100 fidget blankets to parents of autistic children and plans to introduce them to local schools.
