The Gender Empowerment Centre is an inclusive space run by the UVic Students’ Society (UVSS). The space was created for women, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people, both within the UVic community and outside of it. The space is open for studying, accessing resources and support, attending workshops, and meeting others. The Gender Empowerment Centre is located in room B107 of the Student Union Building and re-opens on February 1st.
