Individuals with a disability or illness can access short-term equipment loans free of charge from various Red Cross locations through their HELP program. HELP lends basic equipment on a short-term basis to assist people coping with illness, injury, or end-of-life at home. Wheelchairs, walkers, commodes, and I.V. poles are just a few examples of the many items that are offered through HELP.
