Nathan Hirayama, a UVic graduate, has been named one of Team Canada’s flag-bearers for the upcoming opening ceremonies at the Tokyo Olympics. Hirayama is a men’s rugby sevens players, and has played with the team in several Pan American games. The men’s sevens team will be making their debut at this year’s Olympics.
