The Hatley Park Gardens are located at Royal Roads University along the shores of Esquimalt Lagoon across from the Strait of Juan de Fuca. There are Italian Gardens, Rose Gardens, and Japanese Gardens located on the 565 acres of forested areas and trails. Currently, the gardens are free to visit during the hours of 12pm – 4pm but this is subject to change.
