The Arbutus Shelter is staffed 24-hours a day, seven days a week to help address the ongoing need for day-time resources by those experiencing homelessness. Located at Douglas Street Community, the shelter offers three meals a day, co-ed and women’s (trans-inclusive) sections, and emergency mats for additional shelter when available. The shelter is accessible for people with mobility needs.
