B.C.’s Education Minister Rob Fleming says masks won’t be mandatory in classrooms but will play a significant role in the province’s back to school plan in September. The province will also be providing masks to students, teachers, and staff which will be required in situations where physical distancing cannot be maintained. Canada’s Federal Public Agency also released guidelines for slowing the spread of the coronavirus among students and staff in September.
