Overview
The Cartographies of Interruption and Influence Connection Workshop took place from 24–27 August 2025 at the Frauenmuseum Merano / Museo delle Donne Merano (Italy). The workshop brought together feminist educators, curators, artists, and researchers from diverse international contexts to explore feminist educational strategies in museums in response to gender-based violence.
Across four days, participants engaged in collective storytelling, object-based inquiry, embodied and creative pedagogies, feminist mapping, and site-based learning. Through presentations, workshops, city walks, and shared reflective practices, the workshop examined how museums and cultural institutions can function as spaces of resistance, care, and transformative feminist knowledge production.
