Noon Meditation for Staff, Faculty and Students

Every Wednesday at the Interfaith Chapel, from 12:15-12:50pm, until December 18th

Join fellow staff, faculty and students at the UVic Interfaith Chapel for a free meditation session.

A basic meditation instruction is led by Henri Lock, United Chaplain, followed by a 20 minute breath meditation, with the session ending at 12:50pm. 

They practice a simple mantra meditation to:

      • still the mind
      • reduce stress
      • nurture inner awareness
      • foster mindfulness
      • become open to peace and wellbeing

The core practice is Meditation and Mindful Awareness. These are key tools in the development of conscious and compassionate ways of being present to the complex and stressful reality of our lives.
