Overview

Lieutenant-Colonel John Albert Hall was the 1st Commanding officer of the 88th Victoria Fusiliers.[1] He was born in Manchester, England, on . He was Married to Mrs Annie Hall.[2]

He had a long military career between 1899-1920, served overseas in the First World War, and continued to be apart of the 88th Victoria Regiment Society after the war.[3]

88th Regiment, Victoria Fusiliers

Lieutenant-Colonel John Hall played a significant role in the formation of the 88th Regiment, Victoria Fusiliers in 1912. He became commanding officer of the Regiment before he was deployed overseas as part of the 30th Battalion.[4]

Post War

After the war, Hall was a part of the Victoria Fusilier association and continued to play a part in the Victoria Military Community.[5]
