Overview

H. B. Andrews was born in Morden Park, England. He was taught and educated at Clifton House, Eastbourne, England. In 1896 he joined the 2nd battalion of Royal Welsh Fusiliers and would see service in the boxer rebellion of 1898 in China under the command of Colonel the Honourable R. H. Bertie. Once it was over, he remained in the service but later decided to Come to Canada in 1904.

88th Regiment

As of May 1916, he was the Commander of the Number 1 Company of the Victoria Fusiliers.[1]
