A recital for our times

Music student Jorge Eduardo Flores Carrizales had been dreaming of his masters graduation recital for years. He was meant to perform in March… and then we all know what happened.

But COVID19 didn’t stop Jorge’s dream. He hired a videographer and coordinated with Music’s audio tech. On March 30, the day he was supposed to give the recital to his grad committee, he recorded it instead. He was determined to present “the complete picture of his program.”

See Jorge’s performance, Ecos de Mexico, below and get the full story on the Fine Arts Connector.

Really enjoyed your performance, Jorge! Well conceived and delivered. It was a pleasure as well as an education in la música mexicana. Thank you. I think that you are a master of your music. Hope your committee agrees with me. Congratulations!
