Patrick Lane was one of Canada’s pre-eminent poets. His distinguished career spanned more than fifty years with twenty-five volumes of poetry, as well as award-winning fiction and non-fiction books.

Our Chancellor, Shelagh Rogers, spoke with Patrick on CBC’s The Next Chapter back in 2012 about his collected works and a lifetime of writing. Take a listen.

Patrick passed away on March 7 at age 79.
