Convocation sing-along

Who doesn’t love a group sing-along? Watch Dr. Dennis Tupman get a whole convocation ceremony to join him in a rousing round of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” when he received his honorary degree from UVic in 2011. You’ll find the singing at 19:25. Dennis, a strong advocate for music education, taught many students the importance of music in our lives.

This spring we’re not able to hold in-person ceremonies for grads, but we’ll still honour them as they embark on the next phase of their lives. We’ll invite them to attend a future in-person convocation over the next three years. And we’ll give them the option to receive a Grad Box, which will contain their parchment (diploma/certificate), printed program, mortarboard and tassel and alumni pin.
