Kicking butt during COVID
Feeling sluggish at home or missing the group motivation of a gym environment? Two UVic community members have just the thing to strengthen bodies, minds, and community connection—virtual kickboxing classes.
UVic kinesiology alum Hal Kreisel leads twice weekly classes through Forge Training. Everyone from beginners to pros are welcome to join in from the comfort of home. You can start with their YouTube videos to learn the fundamentals or join a live class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Cardio seekers can also join the Skillz Kickboxing Studio Facebook group for free daily workouts led by UVic student Brooke Woodley. Come prepared for a high intensity sweat!
