Three years ago, UVic professor Jay Cullen was among 72 candidates shortlisted to become one of Canada’s next astronauts. In this Café Scientifique event, Jay wows an audience (virtually, of course) on his experience and schools us all on whether we have the right stuff to make it to space.

Cafe Scientifique is a twice monthly science talk hosted by UVic researchers, which has now moved online due to COVID-19. You can watch the talks live or enjoy recordings afterwards.
