Updates to PRIMED’s FLiDAR buoy

The FLiDAR buoy was deployed on November 7th, 2022, but some challenges were faced with the wind turbines and diesel generator throughout its 7-month mission. Salish Sea Industries, assisted by PRIMED staff member Jackie and AXYS Technology technicians, recovered the buoy on June 6th, 2023. Repairs were conducted by AXYS Technicians, including the installation of a new wind turbine, two additional solar panels, and a new diesel generator.
