On behalf of the Mowachaht/Muchalaht First Nation, Barkley Project Group is releasing a Request for Information to determine wave energy converter technologies that are capable of integrating with a microgrid system at Yuquot (Nootka Island, BC). The Project team is interested in engaging with qualified firms to explore the feasibility of integrating their wave energy technologies with the microgrid. Those engaged in the Project could position themselves as industry leaders, while setting a precedence for similar future projects, across Canada. Interested respondents are requested to provide detailed information on how they propose to engage with the Yuquot Microgrid Project within the Summary document no later than 5 pm PST on April 14, 2023.
