BC Mindfulness Summit

Date: Friday, Feb. 21 – Sunday Feb. 23, 2020
Time: Friday, 7-9 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 8:30am-4:15pm
Fee: $450 plus GST

The BC Mindfulness Summit, developed in partnership with the British Columbia Association for Living Mindfully and the University of Victoria, is a weekend educational event for health and helping professionals to develop and enrich their personal and professional mindfulness practices.

The summit includes a panel discussion, plenary presentations and experiential workshops. This continuing professional development opportunity is for those who identify as working or volunteering in areas where a mindfulness approach to care may be valuable.

How to Create a Mindful Society: A Panel Discussion

The panel discussion will be open to the community, where experts from the fields of medicine, mental health, education and leadership will offer the most current research indicating that mindfulness and meditation are important skills in order to foster a sense of empowerment, connection, innovation, and compassion.
