The UVic campus will be closed for the holidays from Dec. 25 to Jan. 1. The campus officially re-opens on Jan. 2, 2020.
Holiday hours for campus offices and services
Most offices and services will be closed during the holiday break.
Visit the following websites for information on our services:
- McPherson Library: closed Dec. 25-Jan. 1 (reduced hours Dec. 22-24)
- CARSA: holiday hours in effect Dec. 22-Jan. 1 (closed Dec. 25-26 and Jan. 1)
- Food Services: exam and holiday hours until Jan. 5, with all outlets closed Dec. 25 – Jan. 1
- Residence Services: closed Dec. 25-Jan. 1 (move-in is Jan. 3)
- Counselling and Health Services: closed Dec. 25-Jan. 1
- Campus Security: available 24/7 at 250-721-7599

A reminder for faculty and staff
Before you leave for the winter break, please help reduce energy use by closing blinds and turning off printers and other office equipment. Do not turn off office computers.
