Many of us spend most of our day working on a computer or other stationary activities that can be demanding on your mind and body. By taking a break to stretch you can reduce the tension and fatigue that build up during prolonged work tasks.

Module 3 of the online office ergonomics course includes information on stretch breaks. This course has great tip on making sure your work space works for you and stretches you can do at your desk. Although the course is most directly relevant to a traditional office setting you will find many of the same skills and principles will apply to other spaces.
