
Stanley “Bobby” Henry is of the ball deer clan from Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. Belonging to the Cayuga nation, Bobby strives to reclaim his language that he’s acquired since starting his journey in a junior kindergarten in full-immersion in Cayuga language. Bobby is a certified member of the Ontario College of Teachers, holds a Masters of Education, and is 4th year doctoral student in Trent University’s Indigenous Studies program. Bobby is also a recipient of the 2022 SSHRC Canadian Graduate Doctoral Scholarship for his research in Cayuga language research.
