10:15am-12:30pm Indigenous graduate students
Indigenous graduate students will discuss their research in four panels of three to four students. Click here to see student areas of research. Students will speak to the following questions in relation to their work:
- What are you working on with language?
- Why is this work important to you? What calls you to this work?
- Where are you doing this work? Where are you in time and space?
- How are you doing this work?
- Who are you working with? Who is supporting you?
Each group will have about 15-20 minutes to present, leaving time for questions and discussion.
1:30pm – 2:15pm: Indigenous senior scholars sharing
Indigenous senior scholars will speak about their academic Indigenous Language Revitalization (IRL) journeys.
2:15pm – 3:00pm: Indigenous students respond
