Charlotte Ross

Charlotte Ross is a member of the Montreal Lake Cree Nation in Saskatchewan. She is a mother, aunty and grandmother and a first language speaker of Woodland Cree TH-dialect. For over two decades, she has worked as a consultant to create change within institutions of higher learning and First Nation communities. Since June 2019, she has been a doctoral student in Indigenous Language Revitalization at the University of Victoria. She co-hosted a Cree language podcast on www.pikiskwewin.ca with Andrea Custer. She co-facilitates a weekly online adult Cree language group with Senapan Thunder and manages two Indigenous language projects in Saskatchewan.
