Bi-weekly Lecture Series: The Education System in Canada

We are happy to announce our first of our bi-weekly lectures which will take place on Wednesday January 28th. Our first speaker is Dr. Nasr Khalifa and he will talk about the education system in Canada.

Dr. Nasr was born in Gaza, Palestine and has lived in Canada for over 35 years. He graduated with an honors degree from UBC in Chemistry and Biology. He holds a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from the University of Victoria. He has been in Camosun College Since 1992. During his tenure at Camosun, he was the Chair of the Dept of Chemistry & Geosciences for 6 years.

The talk will be room C130 in the David Strong Building at 5:30pm. The talk will be 30 minutes followed by a 15 minute Q&A session.
