The Matrix Institute aligns research at the University of Victoria that concerns applied data science.  It is a focal point for partnerships with industry, government and other academic institutions. The institute is a cross campus initiative hosted by the Faculty of Engineering.

The institute’s main goals are to facilitate discovery research, innovation, training, and technical transfer to industry. Matrix has members with experience in a number of key knowledge domains, and supports projects in key application domains. Please see our open opportunities.
