The Siberian Expedition
The Siberian Expedition, which gathered and trained at Willows Camp in Victoria, set out for the Eastern coast of Russia in December 1918. There was a mutiny along the way, inspired by opposition to conscription and union sentiment. It was a unique moment in Canadian Forces history, but one that is often forgotten.
