The British Library has posted more than 1000 literacy treasures (manuscripts, diaries, letters and other materials) belonging to authors from the Romantic and Victoria periods: Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, Bronte sisters, Oscar Wilde, Shelley and Wordsworth. There are newspaper clippings, adverts and photographs provide context for the time the authors lived in.
