Asalam alaikum dear brothers and sisters,
The MSA team would like to extend a warm welcome to all new and returning students this semester. Alhamdulillah on UVSS Club Days we were able to reach out to many new faces around campus.
Our first event to kick off the semester is a welcome social happening this week for UVic students and their families. Join us this Friday, September 19th from 5-6pm in the Clearihue building (men in room C112, women in room C108). Halal pizza and refreshments will be served free of charge. Come socialize with your peers, meet the MSA Executive Team, and hear about the events planned for this semester. We are always looking for feedback and input from our members so suggestions are welcome!
A note about prayers on campus:
- Jumuah Prayer is held every Friday at the Interfaith Chapel from 1:30pm-2:00pm.
- The MSA has a private, locked prayer room located in Sedgewick C125. We have a selection of Qurans, Quran translation, other reference materials, and dawah pamphlets. Please send us an email to obtain the passcode to unlock the door.
